Discover the world of monoprinting.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn the essentials of gelli printing: a versatile technique using a soft gel plate and acrylic paints to produce beautifully layered, one-of-a-kind artworks.

We begin with the basics: how the plate works, simple colour theory, and ideas for composition. From there, you’ll try layering paint, creating textures, printing images or text from magazines, and finishing your pieces with mixed-media touches like collage or acrylic markers.

All materials are provided, and you’re welcome to bring old magazines if you’d like to incorporate them into your designs.
