Full-day activities:
A Day of Industrial Heritage in Luxembourg.
Explore Luxembourg’s industrial past through immersive places shaped by steel, mining, and reclaimed nature. This full-day experience connects hands-on discovery with striking architecture and unique landscapes.
Your journey begins at the FerroForum, where historic workshops and tools bring the country’s steelmaking legacy to life, before heading to Belval, where you’ll get the chance to climbing the iconic blast-furnace for panoramic views.
In the afternoon, you walk across the Giele Botter, a former open-pit mine transformed into a vibrant nature reserve with red earth, dramatic cliffs, and traces of industry now reclaimed by wildlife.
The day ends in Lasauvage, one of Luxembourg’s most atmospheric villages, where you enjoy dinner in a place shaped by mining history and cross-border traditions.
A Day of Industrial Heritage in Luxembourg is a curated route for anyone fascinated by heritage, architecture, industry, and the way landscapes evolve over time.
